Designed to accomodate everyone's pace and individual goals, participants will meet at 9:00 AM on Friday, April 24, at Rich Pepe's Little Napoli and jog down to Carmel Beach for a run/evaluation with Olympian, coach to 200,000 runners and author, Jeff Galloway.  A motivating Q & A seminar ad healthy gourmet brunch will follow.

DINNER AT LITTLE NAPOLI
A tribute to Italian culture & cuisine, Little Napoli "Bistro Italiano" possesses Old World charm mixed with centuries old traditions in Italian cuisune - the menu features handed-down family recipes reminiscent of the Italian countryside by chef/owner Rich Pèpe.  Little Napoli will be hosting a post-race dinner on Sunday, April 26 at 6:00 p.m.

Make the most of your Big Sur Marathon weekend with a four night stay in quaint Carmel-by-the-Sea.  This Run and Fun package for two, priced at $1,400 offers the following:

    • A four night stay at the Vagabond's House Inn.  A unique gift basket will herald your arrival and your stay includes a race morning continental breakfast, bus transportation from Carmel to the start of your event, and a post-race champagne reception.
    • A Friday shuttle from the Inn to the Health & Fitness Expo in Monterey 
    • A special workout session on Carmel Beach with Olympian coach and author Jeff Galloway, followed by brunch and a Q & A session at Pepe's Little Napoli.
    • A bus to the start of the Big Sur International Marathon (marathoners only)

During your stay in Carmel we hope you'll take some time to discover all the Monterey Peninsula has to offer.  Play a round of golf in famous Pebble Beach or treat yourself to a spa day before or after the Marathon.  Take a wine tasting tour in Carmel Valley or visit the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Window shop in Carmel and then watch the sun set from Carmel Beach.
