The Big Sur International Marathon is a spectacular road race set along one of the most breath-taking courses in the world. Thousands of runners and walkers begin their trek to Carmel on Highway One in Big Sur. Along the way, runners wind their way through majestic redwoods and Pacific Ocean views. A varied musical venue greets participants at each turn, providing inspiration that has been likened to a spiritual experience. This year's race will be held on Sunday, April 27, 2008.
