The Big Sur 5K

ENTRY FEE:

$30.00 for ages 18 and older through 3/31/13
$20.00 for ages 8 - 17 through 3/31/13
$37.00 for ages 18 and older effective 4/1/13
$25.00 for ages 8-17 effective 4/1/13
RACE DATE April 28, 2013
REGISTRATION Pre-registration is open from 7-15-12 until 4-19-13 unless event sells out prior to that date.  There will be race weekend registration at the Expo if the event is still not sold out. There will also be race morning registration beginning at 6:00 AM.
PACKET
PICK-UP

You may pick up your bib, D-tag, and event shirt at the Health & Fitness Expo located in the Monterey Conference Center on Friday, April 26, from noon to 6:00 PM or on Saturday, April 27, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.  There is also race morning pick-up at Marathon Village near the finish.
START/FINISH The 5K begins and ends at Marathon Village, located at Highway 1 and Rio Road adjacent to the Crossroads Shopping Center, Carmel. You are responsible for transportation to the start.

Timing will be provided by South Valley Endurance. 
ELIGIBILITY Anyone eight years of age or older and in good health.
NO WHEELS, PETS OR CHILDREN UNDER EIGHT ALLOWED ON THE COURSE.
AWARDS CEREMONY Award Ceremony begins at 9:15 AM.
 

OPEN 5K - ADULT

Overall awards go to the top male and female winner of the 5K.

Divisional awards three deep for male and female in the following divisions: 
19-24
5-year age groups thereafter through 90+.


OPEN 5K - YOUTH

Awards five deep for male and female in the following divisions:

Ages 8-11
Ages 12-14
Ages 15-18
GOODIES Short sleeve cotton unisex T-shirt to all entrants, post-race refreshments.
